Spotless beautiful room, so much space and Netflix were appreciated. Its location not very far from Weston Park Museum was peaceful...

This hotel is in a fantastic spot right by the river, and there's a nearby bar called Sidelines where you can enjoy a drink or two.

The location was marvellous, new to establishment, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Moreover, its just next door to the bay and Youghal which was 5 minutes away and the river. The room was warm, and cozy, with central heating and tea/coffee making equipment. I really enjoyed the gorgeous breakfast, offered by the hotel.

I felt like a queen at Ardsallagh Lodge, with spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and even a whirlpool! The hosts were kind and gave great suggestions for exploring the area. And the garden? Simply delightful to relax in. Must visit!
Oh, I can't think of a single thing that I didn't absolutely adore about my stay at Ardsallagh Lodge. Oh wait, maybe the fact that I couldn't stay forever!

The decoration at the lodge was absolutely charming, dear. The old world charm really made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The general areas of the hotel were so cozy and welcoming, with lovely furniture and beautiful views of the river. It was perfect for someone like me, who appreciates a comfortable and peaceful setting. And the best part was that the lodge was easily accessible for us older folks. The children working there were so kind and helpful, always ready to assist me with anything I needed. It made my stay even more enjoyable.
If there's one thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for us older folks, it would be the availability of more senior-friendly activities. Perhaps some organized day trips or outings that cater specifically to our needs.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming. From the floral wallpaper to the antique furniture, it felt like stepping into a cozy and elegant home. The general areas were well-maintained and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. There were no steep stairs or long corridors to navigate, making it easy for me to move around comfortably.
It would have been better if the children working there were more knowledgeable about the local transportation options. One evening, we struggled to find a taxi back to the hotel and had to rely on the help of a kind bar man at the nearby Imperial Hotel.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean, comfy and had a beautiful view of the estuary. The staff treated me like family, offering a warm welcome and helpful suggestions for places to visit. The location was convenient, with ample on-site parking and easy access to the surrounding area.
The only thing that could make the food for breakfast better would be to offer a full breakfast inclusive of the price.
